The idea of knowing can be very powerful, every piece of an object encapsulates meaning within it, as II explored further with the exhibition of “what that quilt knows about me”, I’ve wanted to focus on the beauty of knowing, the element of combining pieces of used material, it can be a power entity of producing a story, a web that connects what it is to what it used to be and where it is from.
